 Accelerated Transition Initiative
 ATI is designed to meet the needs of a population of high school age students who are currently enrolled in middle school. The ideal ATI students are turning 16 years old by June and are at risk of dropping out of school. These students are placed in the 8th grade and instruction targets preparation for entering high school. Students are enrolled in one high school career technology course per term with potential to earn four credits by the end of the year. ATI student’s ideal age is to turn 16 years old by June. ATI students will participate in character education activities aimed at promoting productivity and a positive work ethic and at accepting personal responsibility.
