Welcome to our class website! I would like to thank you for letting me teach your child this year.

Please sign your child's yellow Daily Folder every day and send it back to school each morning. I will check it daily for notes from you too!

Tips for helping your child with homework:

* When reading the take home books with your child, have him/her point to each word as they read. When your child is finished reading out loud, ask your child questions about the book, or ask him/her to re-tell the story in their own words.
* When helping your child learn letter names and sounds: Only work on 1 or 2 letters that they don't know per night so they will not become frustrated. Use letter flashcards in random order. Give lots of praise along the way!
