We are the Central Savannah River Area Mothers of Multiples club. Our members live in Columbia, Lincoln and Richmond Counties in Georgia as well as in Aiken and McCormick Counties in South Carolina. We are a non-profit organization established in 1979 to serve as a support system for families raising twins, triplets or more. We are a member of the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc. (NOMOTC) and a member of the Georgia Mothers of Multiples club (GOMOMS).

Membership is open to all families in the CSRA that have multiples regardless of the multiples’ age. Currently, our 39 members have children from 0-26 years old, with their multiples ranging in age from 0-6 years. We have 36 sets of twins (one of our MOMs has two sets of twins!) and 4 sets of triplets. A free two-month trial membership is offered to prospective members.

We're more than MOMs, we're friends! Our members are a diverse group of women. We have members who adopted their multiples and those who experienced pregnancy, either with or without the use of fertility treatments. We have members who have been on extended bedrest, experienced the loss of a child, and have children with ongoing medical conditions. We are of different faiths, ethnic backgrounds and financial situations. Some of us are married, some are divorced. We’re working moms & stay-at-home moms. Some of us have children in addition to our multiples. But, no matter what the differences, we are all bonded by the love of our children and by our friendships with one another.

Why Join A Multiples Club? CSRA MOMS offers support unlike anyone else because we truly understand how raising multiples is an incredible endeavor, but one that offers abundant rewards. If you’re expecting multiples, you’re probably experiencing some anxiety and are unsure of how to prepare. Rest assured, we’ve all had the same fears and worries! We can offer you our personal advice, as well as professional advice from guest speakers at our meetings. If your multiples have already arrived or even if they’re not “babies” anymore, you can benefit from joining CSRA MOMS. As you have probably discovered, life with multiples can be overwhelming at times, no matter how “experienced” you are! It’s comforting to know that you’re not alone in this journey and there are other moms who can lend a sympathetic ear or a helping hand when you need it the most.

Benefits of Membership In addition to friendships and moral support, your annual dues of $30 offers many other benefits. Prospective members may participate in all events, but some benefits are not available until membership is established. We currently offer: Activities for Children and Families, Babysitting Co-Op, Clothing & Equipment Sales, Diaper Drives for triplets or more, Lending Library, Local Monthly Newsletter, Monthly Meetings with guest speakers or social time, Newsletter from NOMOTC & access to their website’s “Members Only” area, Park Days held twice a month, Playgroups, Private Message Boards, Research Reports on multiples and the chance to participate in future research, and “Save Our Sanity!” events
