The DCE Media Center is a very busy place. Students visit the Media Center for skill classes or story-time and to check out books and magazines. DCE students love to read. They look forward to participating in balloon walks by passing AR quizzes and earning points.
Checkout Policy Students are allowed to have two items checked out at a time. All students can keep the items for one week. Students can renew a book if they need more time, unless it is requested by another student. Parents and Grandparents are welcome to come visit the Media Center and check out books for their children. Adults may check out 5 books at a time and they are due back in two weeks.
Library Collection Our school library catalog is accessible at home. You can search our Destiny software for items by author, title, keyword Lexile and Accelerated Reading Level. Just click on DESTINYat D.C.E to begin your search!
Accelerated Reader Books at DCE Choose Accelerated Reading from the Search Reading Programs drop down menu. Type in the beginning and ending AR levels for your desired reading list. Search Reading Program
