Checkout Policy Students are allowed to have two books checked out at a time and the books are due back in one week. Parents and Grandparents are welcome to come visit the Media Center and check out books for their children. Adults may check out 5 books at a time and they are due back in two weeks.

Library Collection Our school library catalog is accessible at home. You can search our Destiny software for items by author, title, keyword Lexile and Accelerated Reading Level. Just click on DESTINYat D.C.E to begin your search.

Accelerated Reader Books at DCE Choose Accelerated Reading from the Search Reading Program drop down menu. Type in the beginning and ending AR levels for your desired reading list.

Accelerated Reader Quizzes Double Churches Elementary students have access to over 10,000 AR quizzes. Click on Quiz Quick Search to search and browse the collection of quizzes available—including the very newest titles!

Renaissance Home Connect Renaissance Home Connect allows parents and students to view the student’s Accelerated Reader progress, including average percent correct on quizzes, number of points earned, and ATOS book level. Parents and students can also click on the student's bookshelf to view all the books the student has taken an AR quiz on. In addition, parents can specify up to six email addresses to receive automatic updates in English or Spanish on their student’s reading progress.
