Oscar and Felix

If you have been to the classroom, you have meet Oscar and Felix. And, I'm betting even if you haven't you know who they are! Oscar and Felix are our class pets. They are Mongolian Gerbils and boy are they fun! We have already enjoyed having and watching them so much.
Felix's Christmas Adventure!
Felix has made a full recovery from his broken leg! Both he and Oscar are back at school and completely healthy!
Here are a few interesting facts about these special pets of ours!
- Mongolian Gerbils originally came from the Mongolian Desert.
- Because they are from the desert, they drink less water than mice, hamsters, and other small pets.
- They are clean, friendly, and very active during the day.
- They greatly enjoy nesting and love shreading cardboard and other paper materials. (Paper towel and toliet paper rolls are a favorite!)
