In the Spotlight
Welcome to Ms. Gauthier's 5th grade class! This week we are still diving into the world of circles! We will be reviewing our previous lessons on finding the area and circumference of different circles! In Social Studies, we are still learning about the Civil War. Mrs. Barber, our librarian, will be sharing some exciting information with us about this famous war. She is also reading an AR book to us, to help us better understand some of the events that took place during that time. In Science, we are finishing up our adventure in classifying plants. We will also review our past lesson on vertebrates and invertebrates. Did you know that an alligator is a vertebrate? We will also be working on some Thanksgiving activities! This will be a busy week for us! Feel free to stop by and visit our classroom!

Weekly: Study your basic multiplication, division, addition and subtraction facts every night! Also study regrouping and multi-digit multiplication every night!
**Additional Homework will be announced in class on a daily basis. Each student is responsible for writing down their homework when it is given in class.
