Greenbrier PTO is your volunteer Parent-Teacher Organization for our school. We are totally dependent upon volunteers to run our organization and implement the many activities our students enjoy and benefit from at our school.

Your PTO has worked diligently throughout the summer on our playgrounds, calendar, budget, staff back-to-school breakfast and open house activities. Since the PTO’s inception, our successful fund-raising activities have allowed us to build and maintain two playgrounds, assist in purchasing a music keyboard lab, increase technology presence in our school by purchasing “Active Boards”, document cameras, overhead projectors and software programs.

Throughout these many worthwhile projects, we continue to sponsor numerous other activities such as student assembly programs, accelerated reader incentives, student birthday celebrations, teacher reimbursements and much more. In order to continue this tradition of “Going Beyond Excellence”, WE NEED YOU!
Here’s how YOU can help:

• If you have not already, please join our PTO. Forms came home with your student the first week of school. There are additional forms in the office.
• Support PTO-sponsored fund-raisers and other fun PTO activities (i.e. Fall Carnival, Bingo, etc...) by volunteering to help or simply by attending the events.
• Volunteer to hold an office or chair an event or committee. We always have people willing to help (which is great), but we need people willing to plan and oversee the activities. We need people to direct the helpers.
• Subscribe to GBE Monthly Calendar to keep informed of school and PTO activities.
