Recycling/"Upcycling" and Consignment Programs ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Good To Go Consignment All clothing and shoe sizes from Infant to Plus sizes are welcome. Items need to be in new or gently worn condition (no rips, tears, stains, or broken buttons) in order to be accepted. Your donations can be dropped in the collection box located in Angela Pluto's office on campus or can be mailed directly to the Consignment Store. Please indicate in your package that your items are being donated to the Georgia School for the Deaf's account.The first trailer of aluminium cans was recycled in September 2008. We collected 640 lbs of cans. Each pound was paid out at 58 cents a pound. In a little over 3 months, we earned $371.20 from this project. The 2nd trailer of cans was emptied on 4/30/09. We collected 500 lbs of cans. Each pound was paid out at 39 cents a pound bringing in $195.00. The 3rd trailer of cans was emptied on 9/22/09. We collected 480 lbs of cans. Each pound was paid out at 54 cents a pound bringing in $259.20. The total amount earned since this trailer was placed is $825.40. The trailer is back in place at the Talmadge Gymnasium in Cave Spring, and the community is particpating once again!
