Troop 2778 is off to a great year! Thanks girls, parents, and leaders for helping to make this a special experience for everyone involved.

We have a great group of girls and really enjoy the time we get to spend helping them become girls of courage, confidence and character.

Happy New Year!

December 1st is our next meeting. We'll come up with something fun to do, so stay tuned!

December 15th is our holiday party. Each girl is to bring a $10 wrapped gift to exchange. Please don't put a gift tag on the gift since it will be a mystery exchange. The girls voted to have each girl bring a dish/snack to share. We'll also need plates, napkins, cups, plasticware. Christi will provide the drinks. Let Laurie and Christi know what you'd like to bring.

Please be sure to have your daughter bring a can of food along with her $1 dues to each meeting. After each meeting, we give the food collection to one girl. She is responsible for delivering the food to whichever local charity she and her family chooses. This way each girl will be able to "Take Action" and realize the impact that their food collection is making.

Please let Laurie or Christi know if you need a list of donation sites or if you have any problems making a drop off.

All of our Fall Fundraiser items have been delivered. If you have not paid for your items, please get that money turned in to Tina Humphrey as quickly as possible. Thank you to everyone that participated!

EVENT: Tween Weekend
DATE: January 22-23, 2011 Girls ages 10-12 can participate.
Activities include Movie night, cooking banana boats and s'mores, crafting, earning some badges, and having an awesome time with other girls! Even if you don't like to camp, everyone will be staying in the very nice cabins at Pine Acres. Spaces are expected to go fast, so reserve your spots today! Email gstroop7843@yahoo.com

All girls are expected to wear their uniform to each and every meeting.
