Televised Showing up a history quiz bowl. Each year students are given certain topics to study about the accomplishments of local and national Americans.

College-A-Rama
College Fair for area students to learn more different college and universities. The representatives talk about their colleges and scholarship opportunities. It was started to expose local high school students and their parents to educational opportunities at HBCU. It has since been opened to all colleges.

Senior Soiree (SISTERS, Inc)
Senior Soiree is a forum for SISTERS,INC to give out over $10,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors. It is a fun-filled event designed to celebrate the accomplishments of Seniors.

Chapter takes Easter baskets to children at local high school for parenting teenagers.

Juneteenth Western Round-up(SISTERS, Inc)
The is an much anticipated evening where guests come in western attire to celebrate the day when the slaves in the state of Texas first learned that they had been freed. The Juneteenth Western Round-up commemorates African American freedom and emphasizes education and achievement.
