Welcome to Mrs. Iverson's Webpage...           Monday through Thursday your child will have homework. Some days it might be math and phonics, and others it might be a reading sheet and math, but they will always have homework. Check below for the nightly spelling homework. I appreciate all your help and effort too. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
What we did and what were doing next!!!  Last week was GREAT, and this week is going to be even better!!!!!!!!!! We are working on PHONICS and finding the MAIN IDEA and supporting details in reading. We are also working on the MAIN IDEA(topic sentence) and supporting details in writing.in writing. In math we are finishing up on large addition and then working on large subtraction and time.
 
Spelling words for 9/28 - 10/2

   Spelling Homework
  1. Monday - write words 3 times each
  2. Tuesday - put words in ABC order
  3. Wednesday - students need to take a practice test at home
  4. Thursday - use each word in a sentence. Each sentence needs to have at least six words in it.
 
Math
Please work on addition, subtraction, and telling time with your child.		   Reading
Please take the time to read with your child every night. The practice will only help your child's ability.
