1. metallic-a mineral that is shinny like a metal. 2. nonmetallic-a mineral that is dull or glassy. 3. igneous-rock that forms when melted rock from deep below Earth’s surface cools and hardens. 4. metamorphic-rock that forms when existing rocks are changed by extreme heat and pressure. 5. sedimentary-rock that forms when sand, particles of rock, bits of soil, and the remains of once-living things are pressed together and harden. 6. sediment-particles of sand, and bits of rock. 7. rock cycle-the continuous series of changes that rocks undergo. 8. culture-the customs, beliefs, laws, ways of living, and all other results of human work and thought that belong to a people. 9. geographical-the natural features of a region or place. 10. authority-the right and power to control persons or things. 11. tolerance-capable of being tolerance; bearable. 12. array-an arrangement of objects in rows and columns. 13. product-a product in mathematics is the answer to a multiplication problem. 14. multiply-when you combine equal groups, you can multiply to find how many in all; opposite operation of division. 15. factor-a number that is multiplied by another number to find a product. 16. multiple- a number that is the product of a given number and a whole number.
