PROM DUES

1.     If you are planning to attend the prom, prom dues must be paid.  THEY ARE NOT PART OF SENIOR DUES!

2.     Transfer students, TAP juniors, and Academic Success students should see Ms. S. Lloyd in room 416 regarding prom packages.

3.     Dues may be paid to Ms. S. Lloyd in Room 416 after school or the first five days of each month during advisement (with a pass from the advisement teacher).

4.     Dues can be paid in cash, money order, or certified bank check (made out to Kendrick High).  NO personal checks, debit cards, or credit cards will be accepted.

5.     All prom packages must be paid no later than 30 days before the prom.

6.     Funds paid at other schools for prom, junior class, etc. are not applicable towards prom dues at Kendrick.

GUEST DUES and REQUIREMENTS

1.     Guest dues are $30.00.

2.     Only one guest is allowed.  The guest must check-in with the student upon entering the prom and leave at the same time as the student when leaving the prom.

3.     Guests are those people that are KHS freshmen, KHS sophomores (1st & 2nd semester), attend another school, or are out of school.

4.     Students who are juniors (have attained junior status) or seniors at KHS, TAP, or Academic Success must pay for a prom package…they cannot attend as a guest of another KHS junior or senior to avoid paying prom dues.

5.     The minimum age of a guest is 15, and their level of education must be high school (9th grade) or higher.  In other words, a middle school student who is 15 may not attend the prom as a guest.

6.     Guest dues must be paid no later than two (2) weeks before the prom.

7.     Students will be required to complete a “guest confirmation” form concerning information about their guest.  The information and character of all guests will be verified.  This is for the safety of all people in attendance at the prom.

8.     The principal has the right to refuse approval of a guest and notification will be made to the student so they may make other arrangements for another guest.

9.     If a student thinks there may be a problem with their guest attending the prom, it would be advisable for the student to speak with Ms. S. Lloyd or the principal and explain the reason for their concern before the student and the guest invests the time and money into attending the prom.
