Accelerated Math objectives
Accelerated math is a computer generated program that quickly analyzes the student's comprehension of the standards taught. The teacher aligns the objectives in accelerated math with the standards taught in the classroom, which are aligned with the 6th Grade GEORGIA PERFORMANCE STANDARDS.Students take practices home, which should be completed every night.Students have homework every night in the form of accelerated math. After a student completes an objective 70% or higher the computer indicates to the teacher that the student is ready to test on that objective.Students are tested in the classroom during what is called "math lab" in which students are tested monitored by teacher closed book and closed notes.Once a student makes a score of 70% or higher on an objective, that particular objective is considered mastered.
  1st 9wks goal-50 mastered by Christmas Break for a total of 90
Great news parents, students have homework in the form of accelerated math every night in addition to any classroom activities they did not complete. The goal for 3rd 9wks is 40 mastered. The goal for the year is 125 mastered before 1st week of April. If a student has 125 objectives mastered and complete all classroom assignments successfully, student will have success on the CRCT(achieve an score of 800 or higher)
