The Lowndes County Republican Party is committed to promoting Republican ideals and principles and recruiting and electing qualified candidates for public office.

We seek to identify individuals who are civic-minded, have shown themselves to possess integrity and believe in the principles that have made America strong. Our party supports encouraging individual initiative to bolster economic growth and prosperity.

We believe government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn. We believe in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all.

We believe that together we can make our country a better place, and we invite you to join in these efforts.

Volunteering!

Volunteers are the cornerstone of our great nation. Where would America be without volunteers? Compensation is never a consideration for those whose efforts are fueled by their passionate beliefs in the principles on which our country was founded. Conviction and dedication to the causes of freedom and liberty are the driving forces that mobilize and motivate Americans to volunteer.

Without volunteers, the quality of our schools, churches, hospitals and libraries would suffer. Our emergency and first responder services would topple. Volunteers are there when the need arises and remain until the needs are met.

The Republican Party of Lowndes County needs YOU to volunteer. Come join in our efforts to secure our rights and freedoms now and for generations to come!

To motivate individuals to run for public office who are committed to uphold and fight for constitutional principles and the preservation of the republic.

To increase Republican voter registration.

To promote conservatism in the tradition of the Founding Fathers.

To bring back to the Republican party those who have been disaffected by the perception that the party has moved away from its core principles.

To watchdog elected officials and insure their adherence to conservative Republican principles.

To identify and oppose those individuals, groups and agendas that would, knowingly or otherwise, bring about the loss of our freedoms and the destruction of our republic through the violation of the constitution and the erosion of the traditional family or public morals.

To inform the public regarding correct principles relative to issues and the qualifications of candidates for public office.

To maintain the integrity of the Republican party platform based on correct moral and constitutional principles. Then to use the platform as a criteria of accountability for elected officials.
