A Message from Mathews' Principal, Mrs. Kay Dowis:
Welcome to Mathews Elementary School, home of the Terrific Tigers! Mathews Elementary School is known for its excellence in achievement, rich traditions and family atmosphere. When you walk through the doors you will feel at home. This is a school where teachers want their own children to attend. Children are safe, nurtured, educated and affirmed. Our family is a diverse family of many nationalities. There are many ways you can be involved whether through our very strong PTA or our active business partners, Lithokrome, Upatoi Methodist Church and The Cottonmouths.You’ll love being a Terrific Tiger!
Scholastic Book Fair! When: February 22-26 Where: Mathews' Media Center
When: Tuesday, February 23rd Time: 5:30-7:30 PM Cost: $5.oo per plate Includes: Olive Garden Spaghetti, salad, garlic breadstick and drink RSVP and payment due: by February 10th We are asking for donations of new and slightly used books for the BOOK BINGO. Please place books in the bins located near the front door. BOOK FAIR WILL BE OPEN THIS NIGHT!!
