This is the new website for the Moon River Dancers, Chapter 6069, of the National Organization USA Dance. We are dedicated to promoting the quality & quantity of ballroom dance in the United States.

USA DANCE is a volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization serving as the National Governing Body for Dancesport in the USA - Member of the International Dance Sport Federation (IDSF) and an Affiliate Member of United States Olympic Committee (USOC)

NATIONAL MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to improve the quality and the quantity of ballroom dancing in the United States.

May SATURDAY BEGINNER LESSON

The beginners' lesson will be Saturday, May 5th @ 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the A&I Butterfly Ballroom located at 7215 Seawright Dr. The dance will be Rhumba. Students can call 912-356-3623 if you need directions. The cost will be $5.00.

May MONTHLY DANCE

Hello Fellow Dancers!

The May Monthly Dance will on Saturday the 19th ( the third Saturday)at the Frank G. Murray Community Center 160 Whitemarsh Island Rd Savannah, GA. There will be an intermediate Rhumba lesson from 7:00 to 8:00, followed by the regular dance until 10:30. Again, admission is $7 for members and $10 for non-members.

If you can, bring finger foods and snacks to share, it is greatly appreciated.

There is a lesson from 7:00 to 8:00 followed by dancing until 10:30 pm

There are five ballroom dance studios in the Savannah area. We do not recommend one over the other individually but recommend all of them collectively. Visit each one of them and stay with the one you like. Call each one for details on pricing, group / private lessons and studio dances.
