Hey friends and family, we are pleased that you came by to visit our website! We are in Atlanta at Blood n Fire ministries.
God has done so much in our lives and hearts since we came here, and is still working with us to prepare us for his purposes. We have gotten to know quite a few homeless and relationless people who roam the streets of Atlanta, and who stay in our santuary. We are left with so many questions, like what can we do to help? How can we really make a difference? We have noticed that working with addicts is hard, and not the same as working with people who are truly poor. We have fed people, clothed people, and sheltered people... and still wondered if any of it means anything. The one area that we know makes a difference is to get to know people, love them, and pray with them, and let God do what needs to be done through us to help them see Him.
Living here has been hard; God is training us, and showing us things about ourselves we would rather not see. He is teaching us to put our trust and security in Him alone, is giving us more faith, and teaching us obedience. He alone is good and His word will last forever. It will go where He sends it and it will not come back without producing fruit. Praise Jesus.
About 2 years ago, God placed a huge passion in my heart to work with the downcast and pushed aside youth. In an effort to draw these youth in God gave me a vision to build a skatepark. One unlike any other in Atlanta. And so I did. I don't have a clue what God is going to do with this, but I know it will be huge. Just think, skateboards, the youth, God, what a great mix.
