My other site

Shameless plug to let you know that I created a humor/satire website called the Outhouse Rag.

The Outhouse Rag is a site that is updated daily with links to a wide variety of nonsense that the Internet, so frequently, provides us. I find the best from the depths of the web.

I hope that you will take part in this nonsense by poking fun with your comments.

During and since our days at Parkview, we have all experienced situations that have tested us in many different ways. Through these times, I hope that you have found strength in taking these situations, circumstances, events, etc., to the Lord in prayer. It only makes sense then that, as a group in prayer together; we can help our old friends through difficult times.

This is how you can participate in our Prayer Group:
To summit a Prayer Concern to this page select

Powered by Responders.com

If you do submit a prayer concern please provide updated information on your request. This will allow all of us that prayed for those below an opportunity to know how their prayers have been answered.

I would like to thank Gina Allen Terry and Susan Green Lee for suggesting that a Prayer Concern Page be added to the Panther Den. I truly believe in the power of community prayer, and I have personally witnessed the power in such prayer.

I hope that you will want to participate in our Prayer Concern Page and look forward to hearing from you.

Prayer intention for: Julie Harlan Lopez 82í
Prayer concern: Julie Harlan Lopez had a successful surgery for the removal of a cancerous tumor around her small intestine 12-3-02. She is at home now and resting. Doctors believe they were able to remove ALL of the tumor, however, she is requesting more prayer for follow-up blood tests over the next several weeks.Lets remember to keep Julie in our prayers and hope she will be able to find the perfect bathing suit for the upcoming summer as she is concerned she "will no longer be able to wear bikinis." As you can tell her spirits were high, and lets hope they stay that way!

Update: Julie Harlan is doing well! Her first day back to work was today (1/14/03) and so far all her blood work has come back negative showing no further signs of Cancer. She wanted to communicate her appreciation for our prayers and has requested we continue them for future blood draws through the coming year!

Date Prayer Request will be removed from web site: 12/31/03

Prayer intention for: My children - Stephen and David
Prayer concern: After 6 years of custody of my sons - Stephen (16) and David (13) and a 2 year struggle with our custody arrangement I have made the decision to let them go to live with their dad. Itís been a very stressful year with alot of tears. I thank God every day for my children - but I also know that sometimes you have to let go. Only by the Godís Grace will I be able to do this. Tracie and I spoke of lifting them in Prayer for protection and leadership. Please remember my family during this time of adjustment. I can honestly say itís the most painful experience that I have ever been thru. My oldest son accepted Christ 3 years ago, but to my knowledge David still has not taken this step. Please pray that Godís presence will surround him and hold to his heart. They are wonderful young men - I love them dearly and your prayers are appreciated.

Love to you all! In Christ - Kim
