Box Tops for Education

The Box Tops for Education program is a way to raise funds for our PTSA while you shop for your regular purchases.

When you purchase General Mills products such as baking, beverage, cereal, frozen, paper, refrigerated, snacks, storage and container products as well as school and office supplies, look for the Box Tops for Education squares.

Turn in the squares each time you sign and return your child's progress reports. Richards PTSA receives .10 cents for each box top.

Last semester, we earned $891 from clipping and turning in Box Tops on products we already purchase.

Remember to collect box tops all year long, and return them with your child's signed progress report.

Go to boxtops4education.com for a complete list of products and any additional information.

 Publix Partners Card

Stop by the front office to pick up your Publix Partners card. When you do your regular shopping at any local Publix, give the cashier your card to scan at check-out so that Richards will receive a percentage of your sale.

In the last quarter, we earned $118.37. In the last year, we earned $444.71 .

The money goes into the Richards General Activity Fund and supplements school wide activities and items that range from Science Olympiad to locker costs.

Remember to use your Publix Partners card every time you shop at your local Publix grocery store.

Volunteers

Volunteers play a vital part in PTSA and at Richards. While the nature of volunteering changes from elementary to middle schools, the benefits for your child, the teachers, faculty and staff do not change. Your help makes a difference.

There are many opportunities to volunteer either at school, from home or on trips. If your time is tightly scheduled, donate materials, money or resources. All donations of time, money and resources are welcome and greatly appreciated.
