NOTES: Mrs. Bonadio approved the project scope document and it has been submitted to Tim Beatty, CCBOE Facilities Maintenance, for approval. In the meantime, Sean Mountain (our parent project manager) is actively meeting with contractors to request bids for the work.

PROPOSED PROJECTS:

PE Storage Shed
Due to space constraints, the PE dept is storing extra equipment in the gym bathrooms. This is a safety hazard. Project will purchase and erect a shed to be located adjacent to gym.

Tetherball & Four-Square Courts
Existing tetherball court’s rubber matting is a safety hazard and maintenance headache. The mats are set unevenly and continually shift in the sand, posing tripping risks. Project will install a cement 4-court pad with poles/balls and paint hopscotch boards on the pads for added use. Students love to play Four-square but have no courts on the playground. Project will install a 10’x10’ cement Four-square pad.

Outside Basketball Court
Existing five basketball goals are either broken or in severe disrepair. Project will remove one goal and install/repair 4 goals in good working condition, with new backboards, hoops, and nets on north end of court.

Gym Sound System
The coaches need a working system to communicate with students in the gym as well as play music for specific activities. Project will purchase 2 wireless microphones, a mixer with MP3 docking, cables, connectors, and swap out of (existing) speakers. An iPod Nano player is being donated by a generous parent.
