What's going on in P.E.?
Welcome Back Hannan Hawks. I hope you all are ready for a fun year. We will be playing a lot of new games and a few of the ole favorite activities. Each day we will take a few minutes to work on fitness. As we begin the new year with hot temperatures please remember to drink lots of water. See you in the gym!
Safety for all students is my main goal. If your child loses behavior points due to a lack of respect for the safety rules, feel free to see me before or after school. Safety and consistency go hand in hand in a physical education setting.
Here are a few activities we will play during the school year.... Fitness,Coordination Stations, Tetherball, Big ball volleyball, Quadangular volleyball,ropes/Jump Rope For Heart,"How to tie my Shoes," Seven Heaven Fitness, Basketball Skills,Football skills,Racquet games/Tennis, Softball, Soccer, Capture the Flag and many more.
Congratulations to all the Hannan Hawks from last year! We won the Columbus "Kids In Motion" for playing the most hours. Thank you to all our students and a big THANK YOU to the Columbus Sports Council for the $1,000.00 donation to our students. We are purchasing lots of great items for our students.
