Here is a soldier stationed in Iraq, stationed in a big sand box. He asked his wife to send him dirt (U.S. soil), fertilizer and some grass seeds so he can have the sweet aroma and feel the grass grow beneath his feet. 
Just a little
piece of home
If you notice, he is even cutting the grass with a pair of a scissors. Sometimes we are in such a hurry that we don't stop and think about the little things that we take for granted.
Upon receiving this, please say a prayer for our soldiers that give and give (and give up) so unselfishly for us.
Thank you from a soldier who is stationed in Baghdad right now. I know my parents are against this war but yet my mom and dad are always upset when they miss my phone call on the weekends. My wife and 4 kids are at home and I am going to be home in a few days for R&R. Thank you again for your thoughts.

This official document goes on to prove that Bush made hundreds of "misleading statements" in regard to Iraq. This is good to keep for those who have been taken in by Bush and is well worth reading. (It's not as long as it looks.)

...I have a couple of beloved children who will need to sign up and be sent if the draft is reinstated.They are 16 and 18. I don't want them to have to fight for oil in this illegal war. But the military has been stretched so thin. . . and with no legitimate reason!!
You'd think the defense budget is big enough but corporations like Halliburton are raping the American public with price-gauging and criminal billing for underlivered goods.
We hate this war and the way our "fearless" (awol) leader has sent so many strong and brave children into an unnecessary quicksand-pit of horror, it is far more than just unfair! We are working and donating time and money to getting Bush out of office. We are going to win this November thanks to you!

The word "conservative" tends to denote a calm and wise approach (and which conservatives are fond of hearing). However conservatives simply do not deal with the hard facts but rather engage in wordy versions of flag waving and telling non-conservatives that they don't understand the big picture.
Of course if you swallow hard and openly ask about the alleged "big picture", all you'll get is still more flag waving and paragraphs of hollow speech to mask the reality that they simply have no specific answers for the facts. Conservatives seldom deal real answers and asking them direct questions only aggravates them - so they resort to denigrating or trying to instill some sort of guilt in non-believers to get out of it. It's really childish and ironically the opposite from the image of wisdom they like to project.

...Keep battling, and remember to keep READING. Get worldly views on the important issues and make up your own mind. I too face an uphill struggle in convincing all my friends and those who will lend an ear that our government is corrupt and must be changed. It's hard when people deny your sources because they don't say "Fox News" on them. Fox News is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who is the most staunch supporter of Neoconservative Republicanism in the media arena. What kind of news do you think you're going to get watching his channels? No suprise that it's all pro-Bush and pro-war. The country is fighting a war for Israel and a select few (the president, v.p., and congressmen) who are supported by AIPAC. I don't have a problem with THEM fighting a war. I have a problem with my countryman fighting a war FOR them without knowing why they're doing it. And I have a problem with the U.S. tax payer (you and I) paying for it. I can't keep a clear conscience knowing that my tax dollar is helping to build rockets that kill civilians. It's tearing me up inside. So keep up the good work... They're sheep. Tell them that you don't speak Baaaaaaaa!!!!!
