Welcome .....Week of Feb.16-19  Please continue working on the sight words that are highlighted in the back of homework folder. It is important that you are working on these with your child. Many of the books we read include these words and your child will feel successful when reading. As a reminder: Please make sure you are signing your child's homework folder everyday. Also, some students are not bringing it back at all.This needs to be returned each day. Thank you for your help with this matter. Ms. Lyons
 
Letter of the Week  Please review all letters and sounds.
 
Math
We are busy sorting, patterning and working on numbers 1-20. Many students still do not recognize 1-10. It is very important that they know these and are able to match amounts with the number also. We have also begu adition with sums up to 10. 		  Reading
Parents: We have covered all letters of the alphabet now. We will still go over them regularly as well as the sound each letter makes. If your child is having difficulty with any of these skills ,please continue working on at home. *I am very pleased with the progress that they are making. Thank you for all your help and support!!
