Wut's Up, Buttercup? Heyyyyy evry1!!!!!!! I know I have told you my lil' sis is getting so many different dawgz, but this time I am 4 REAL!!! Katie, my lil' sis, is getting a lab-golden retriever mix!!!!! O yeah!!! She is 5 weeks old and Katie's going to name her Kandy Kane!!! (Kandy for short) Ain't it so CUTE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? And besides, since I pick off her fleas, give her baths, take her out, clean her poop and pee, feed and give her water AND sleep with her while she's rambunctous, and Katie is scared to pick her up, I think that she is MY dog, and not Katie's, even though she claims it's her dog. TTYL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Hi, this webpage will be all about my dog Sunny. He is a Border Collie and is 3 years old. He turned 3 on April 10, 2008, one month before my sister's birthday. My dog, Sunny, is a purebred Border Collie. He is very unique, mostly personality-wise and appearance-wise. Most Border Collies have black fur with white spots. Sunny has white fur all over, except his face, which is black, except for a white line in the middle. Sunny chases and eats bees, sometimes. Instead of fighting with other dogs, he stops a conflict between 2 or more dogs. I just love my very special and unique dog, Sunny.
Alright, you already know the basics about Sunny, so here is how I chose him over all his brothers and sisters. He was the most unique looking dog ever. I felt bad that if I didn't pick him, 2 things will happen. 1, somebody else will get him. 2, I would feel guilty about not picking him because my heart wanted him. Isn't that so sweet!?!?!?!?! So I ended up picking him, and I named him Sunshine Sundae Fernandez, but Sunny for short. The reason I picked his middle name to be Sundae is because 1, I got him on a Sunday, and 2, I was eating ice cream sundaes. The reason I named him Sunshine was because he is the Sunshine of my life, and his favorite song when he was a cute little puppy was "You Are My Sunshine". For example, when I just turned 10, I fell on the stairs in my backyard and hurt my shin. It was bleeding, so Sunny, as a middle sized puppy, came to the rescue! He licked my shin until it was all better. Then he licked my tears. He made a funny face and then smiled at me, letting me know everything was going to be OK. Well as you can tell, Sunny is the BEST DOG IN THE WORLD!!!!!
Sunny is just the best dog in the world, and you already know about him. So, here are some of his friends: Sumo, part Chow part Golden Retriever, Pearl, Pit Bull, Jefe and Guapo, miniature greyhounds, Jackie Roder, former my dog and Jack Russell Terrier, Tiger (Biggy), dog that was lost and American Bulldog, Kasey (real name Ginger), Golden Retriever, Dakota, unknown, and me, Rachel Fernandez, dog owner. Well, now you know Sunny, and all of his doggy friends!! ;)
This Border Collie is a model for BARk Magazine. Yes, even dogs can be models. How 'bout that?!?
Sunny, oh my goodness, he is just the best dog in the world! Once, I made a clay dog for my 13 year old cousin, Kara for Easter. I wanted it to look realistic so I cut some of Sunny's fur of his tail since he had extra hair hanging off. I glued the fur to the sculpture (yeah really!). When I was done, I showed it to Sunny because I promised him that I would tell him. When he saw it, he laughed!!! I asked him, "Is it really that bad?" And you know what he did, he nodded yes to me. I just thought he was the smartest dog in the world!!!
This is a Border Collie's original environment...a farm!!!
Now you know more a little about Sunny, so here are some things about me. I love to draw, paint, sculpt, any type of art. When I was in 4th grade, I drew a sculpture by Michael Angelo. My art teacher (not from school) Mr. Mark Lucas, put it in Riverfest and I won 1st place! I was so happy, so the first someone I told was Sunny, and he smiled at me, kind of telling me "Great Job!" or "I am so Proud of You!!" or something like that. He has always been there for me and always will be.

Sunny is just such a great friend. He is loyal, trustworthy, honest (kind of because he is a dog), respectful, just the perfect dog. I have made room in my heart for this special dog and he has made room in his heart for me. He is my BFFL or my best friend for life. Like one time, really many times, whenever I visit him at summer camp, he always waits for me, and when I come out, he jumps on me and licks my face. And whenever I drive the golf cart around the whole lake, he sits beside me whenever I drive or he runs in front of me. Whenever I leave, he waits at the entrance, and follows the car until we hit the main road. Usually, we put him in the car and drive him back to summer camp. Whenever I race him, he usually gets ahead of me, but he waits until I catch up. Isn't that such a sweet dog???!!!??!!?!?!?!?! ;)
More About Me
Now that you know all about Sunny, you can learn more about me. My name is Rachel Fernandez and I am 12 years old. I love Sunny. In elementary school I was a straight A student. In 2nd grade I wrote a poem called I Love You the Greenest. It was supposed to be a classwork assignment but it turned out to be in the newspaper in the 3rd grade. In 4th grade, my class and I wrote an Idiom Book, a book full of idioms, and we won International in the Media Festival. In 5th grade at the end of the school year, I got the Presidential Award that was actually signed by the President of the United States of America. I also can say the alphabet backwards really fast since I was 4. I got Sunny for my 9th birthday and now he is still at Summer Camp at my mom's friend's house. Her friend, Mrs. Dorothy, has a huge lake with 72 acres, a golf cart, kayaks, fishing boats, and a bunch of cool stuff. That is where all of Sunny's friends are, except for Tiger, Kasey, and Dakota. Welp, these are the basics about me.
