When you first register for your page with OrgSites, and your page is displayed for the first time, the text boxes on the page will contain most of the directions you will need.

Changing, (editing) background and text color: Get into edit mode by scrolling to the bottom of your page and clicking on Editpage link on the far left-hand side. Click on the Font or Background links at top of edit page and make selections and save changes.

Changing text on a page: in the edit mode, click on edit button, scroll down to text box, make changes, save changes.

To add linked pages to the homepage: again you must be in edit mode, then find the "Go To : Page Manager" link on the left-hand panel and click it. Then in the first empty rectangle box type in the title or name of your new page. Next choose the next numbered simple page, and finally put a green check in the "Page On" box. Scroll to the bottom of this window and Save Changes. Then click on the yellow "Edit Page" link in the top left-hand corner of the page.

The Help menu, which is access by a link at the top of the Edit page, is very useful.

The html code edit tools at the bottom of each edit page can be useful too. For instance, to start a new paragraph on my page I must type a less than symbol, a P , and then a greater than symbol. This option is not for the beginner.
