OVERVIEW
Columbia Elementary is a neighborhood school in south
DeKalb, and as an America's Choice school, the faculty
continually strives to improve the quality of education. The
Columbia Elementary family, community, and business partner
endorse the philosophy that all children will learn and
experience success. It is vital that we work together as a
team to ensure a school environment that is safe,
comfortable, and sensitive to the diversity within our
student population. Such an environment will promote respect
for administrators, teachers, staff, and students. A growing
PTA membership and an enthusiastic and hard working staff
make our school successful.

SCHOOL GOALS
We believe that by sharing and respecting values, holding
high expectations, and working together, Columbia Elementary
and its community will produce well rounded citizens ready
to take on a world that is constantly changing.
