You're not the only one having fun!

While moms are enjoying brunch, guest speakers, conversation and crafts with other moms, the little ones are being cared for in a loving environment right next door.

The ministry of MOPPETS is not just two hours of babysitting. Children are divided into age-appropriate groups and enjoy stories, games, crafts, singing and other activities.

If you are needed for any reason, a MOPPETS teacher will notify you. All teachers have completed “Safe Kids” training and are screened to work with children (background check-approved). These teachers have a loving heart for children, and your child will see the same teachers each time they attend MOPPETS.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does drop-off and pick-up begin?
You may begin to drop your children off at 9:45 am on meeting days. That will allow you plenty of time to check-in at MOPPETS and the meeting. Please return to the Preschool Building promptly at the meeting's close at 12 noon so the MOPPETS Teachers may leave on time.

What should I bring?
For babies and toddlers, the key is LABEL, LABEL, LABEL! Please bring a diaper bag with your child's name clearly labeled on it. Include diapers, a bottle or sippy cup, and a snack. Two year-olds should have a diaper bag, too, but please note that we will provide a snack and cup of water for Twos through Kindergartners. Children in the Threes-Fives class must be potty-trained.

How do I protect my child with allergies?
If your child has food allergies, please notify the MOPPETS Coordinator so your child's name tag will be clearly marked. Pack a snack and drink for children with allergies, as MOPPETS Teachers will not feed children with an "ALLERGY" name tag.

What happens if my child won't stop crying when I drop him/her off?
Please know that we will never allow your child to cry for more than ten minutes. Our MOPPETS Teachers will make every effort to calm your child when you leave, and if your child is still upset after ten minutes, the MOPPETS Coordinator will be notified. Since the MOPPETS Coordinator wears a cell phone on vibrate during the meeting, she will inform you that you need to return to the nursery to see if you can calm your child.
