It feels so good to finally see names that i know. My Greatgrand father is Euclid Waller,his daughter, my grandmoter is Josephine,(My mother was beverly.Who was white, John or Jennifer? both or neither? I'm getting kind of confused.I know Mamie was Irish,(I Think) when and where did they meet? THE MORE I READ, THE MORE QUESTIONS I HAVE! I have attended Richmond-Waller reunions over the years. The last reunion I attended was in Holly Springs, Mississippi where Samuel Richmond, the organizer of this reunion informed me that my family had previously attended the wrong reunion because of Joe Frank. Now I knew Joe Frank from growing up in Memphis. Can someone fill in the gaps for me with regards to how the Richmonds and Waller are related. My great grandmother was Sarah Clayton Richmond, my great grandfather was Yancy Richmond. My grandmother from the union which produced 8 or 9 kids was Ada Richmond. Some of her siblings were Mamie, Elizabeth (Lizzie), Mariah, William, Yancy, and others. How are the Wallers and Richmonds connected? The pictures, information, and names that Samuel has do support what he is saying but I am confused. This is important to me. Does anyone have any information to share?

Pat Echols-Randle, how is the family tree coming along? Do you need any help? I have been researching for the ancestors of John and Jennie Waller, but I need their dates of death or birth. Do you have any info on John and Jennie Waller? What I found out was that John poss born in 1848 and Jennie poss born 1855. As you can see this is before the Civil War. Also what is the latest on a scholarship project?

Does anyone know how many children Euclid Waller had? I'm trying to figure out which waller brother was my great grandmother's father. Cause all I know is that her father moved from holly springs,Miss to Arkansas and later on to chicago,Ill and from the info I found out on Euclid was the same geographical moves her father made. My great grandmother's name is Mary Elizabeth Waller(Russell) by the way who lived in Ohio. One of her sister's name was Katherine Waller, I don't know her married name, she had a brother who died in 1990, and I do believe she had more siblings also. I don't think she met her father but i do know that she reunited with her siblings in chicago. Does anyone have any info?

I am still gathering information from our family here in Chicago. There is a Katherine Waller here but she did not fill in her information. So I am not sure, at this time, where her branch connects to the family tree.

I am presently working on the Waller-Richmond Family tree at ancestry.com. The top of the tree is John and Jennifer Waller who had 19 children. These children are:

This is through the information provide to me by McGowan Waller, one of Elhanan's children. I have a lot of information. The tree is developing nicely but has some holes that others can fill in. However, I am not ready to open it up to other just yet. I need to learn how to manage information that is added so that the tree can remain as accurate as possible.

In answer to the question about the relation between John and Elhanan and Robert, you can see that john is the father of both Elhanan and Robert. Therefore, robert and Elhanan are brothers.

Please ask all to be a patient. I am taking the information from my previous software and typing it into the ancestry.com website that will allow us to access research tools that allow us to get more information about the people in the tree if we wish. I have been working on it for a while now. Hopefully, I will be able to make it accessible by the middle of September,2008.

I have a question...As I understand it, our descendants are Irish, Indian, and African. Was Robert from Ireland, or of Irish descent. He doesn't look 100% Irish, he looks mixed. If he's mixed, then with what?

Does MS. (Gazella) Holmes know if her father Robert Waller and my Grandfather Elhannon Waller were brothers? If so what year was her father born. I have researched what might be my ggrandfather, John Waller, was his wife's name Jennie, and was he born in MS? John Waller would have been Ms Holmes' grand father if Robert Waller was John Waller's son. I have looked at the census and found a John and a Jennie Waller for 1900 and 1880. Don't know what year she (Ms Holmes) was born in but does she or anyone have any memory of John and Jennie Waller. Per my research they were born before the Civil War and possible lived pass 1910. Also were they slaves and who was the slave owner?

I just hosted the 25th Annual Richmond Family Reunion banquet at my restaurant, Sneaky Pete's in Memphis, TN. I have attended 3 Richmond-Waller Reunions but Sam Richmond, the organizer of this reunion told me when I met him @ 4 years ago that " Joe Frank has got ya'll following the wrong set of Richmonds". He showed me a copy of the Richmond linage from the 1800's and sure enough my grandfather, which was as far back as I could go was part of this family tree. Today I saw an updated booklet that he has with some pictures added and it included pictures of my grandfather and my grandmother and and her name was Sarah Clayton Richmond. Maybe I belong to both groups! I really enjoy meeting people from my family so keep up the good work on your web site and keep me in the loop on the next reunion.

My Great Grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Waller who lived in Toledo,Oh, but since her passing none of her children remembers her fathers name who I think is Robert Waller's brother. When she got in her late 40's she found out that she had some brothers and sisters on her father's side in Chicago, who one of their names I remember was Catherine Waller. I tried looking on ancestry but since my great grandmother hardly knew about her father and his family its hard finding a connection on there. Do you think you may know who her father was?

I am interested in information on Ella Richmond. My gggGrandfather name was Anderson Richmond, who was originally from North Carolina. He married Mary Jane, where they lived in Moss Bluff. They had four children, Gracia, Judge, Charles and Miranda Richmond. However, I don't know who Anderson parents were and if he had any brothers and sisters. I do know that he and his parents came through Mississippi, Louissanna, Beaumont, Liberty, Moss Bluff Texas.

My father was John Waller he was the brother of McGowan Waller and Odessa Waller they live in Chicago. Their mother was Hester Waller. Do you have something like a family tree? I tried to search ancesary.com, but I need more information. I believe my father's father was name Elhannon Waller (my grandfather), but have no idea what my great-grandfather's name was. I see on the site Robert Waller, was he my Grandfather's brother (Elhannon)? Any help would be appreciated or maybe you can point in the right direction. Maybe someone has a family tree.
