 American Legion GA State Commander, Fay Casper
American Legion Georgia State Commander "Fay Casper" from our very own American Legion Post 145 in Douglasville, GA celebrated her Homecoming at the Post on April 25th. Warrior Division Sea Cadet assisted Commander Casper in a number of things on this very important day.
SN Kenneth McIntosh
Congratulations to SN Kenneth McIntosh for graduating from U. S. Navy Boot Camp. He is currently in his A School for Medical Training. SN McIntosh was a member of the Warrior Division.
CPO Tyler Phillips

2007 Sea Cadet of the Year CPO J. Tyler Phillips, NSCC, Warrior Division, sponsored by Atlanta Metropolitan Council, was invited to testify before the U.S. Senate subcommittee for Defense Appropriations on behalf of the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Thursday, May 17. His four minute testimony asked for continued support for the Sea Cadet Corps to receive funding for training and other areas of the organization. Seated at his left is Captain Robert C. Hurd, USN (ret), NHQ Liaison for Federal Funding, Navy League Sea Cadet Program. He is very instrumental in helping to maintain funding from the government. While in Washington, he took Tyler on a tour of the Senate and House. RADM Casey Coane, USNR (ret), Atlanta Council Board member and former council Vice President, Youth Activities also testified before the Committee. RADM Coane is currently Executive Director, Naval Reserve Association based in Alexandria, VA. Senator Daniel Inouye (D-HI) chaired the hearings.
