Make sure that you have your POM and Chain of Command on you at ALL TIMES and know what is in it!!!

All Hands Must Have A Minimum of $20 for Dinner on Saturday evening, XO has a surprise for unit. All hands must also have their own brown bag or MRE for lunch on Saturday, fluids will be provided. Bring sleeping gear for overnight.

If you have a Len static Compass bring it with you, DO NOT GO buy one from training, ALL gear will be provided for you.

If you expect to miss Saturday’s drill, you must contact the PO1/LPO Billy Phillips no later than Thur 12 NOV 09.  New Cadets can e-mail me until you get LPO Phillips phone #/e-mail.  Do not wait until after drill begins to attempt to contact your squad leader.  No Exceptions this is being noted on the Muster Sheet/Evals.

·          *Your PT Bag should include NAVY Sweatpants, white T-shirt, white socks, running shoes, (you’ll be wearing all of these).  Include also a Water Bottle, towel, deodorant.  If the weather is COLD make sure you wear or bring you Sweat Shirt/Pants vice PT shorts/T-shirt.  I do NOT want anyone getting sick!!  When you have PT first thing make sure before you get there you DRINK plenty of WATER so that you are Hydrated and eat a light breakfast, Bananas are always good for Potassium which helps you from getting leg cramps.

·          **Cadet reminder:  for muster you must have ID Card, POM, Assignments, watch, handbook folder, pen/pencil & notepad, anything extra required in the POM.  If your ID Card has been lost or destroyed let the LPO know at Muster.

·          Color Guard Opportunities:  Currently we have enough Cadets for a Color Guard Team but would like more of you to be on the team.  There will be several evolutions coming up soon.  Being on the Color Guard Team you must be dedicated and willing to attend extra events.  This is a great opportunity as our Color Guard in the past has been to SEVERAL really memorable places.  All wanting to try out please CONTACT your LPO.

·          All Hands must have regulation haircuts, clean shaven, name tags, shined shoes, flashes, and appropriate uniforms. Some of you have not paid attention to these Regulations so in order to enforce them here is what we are going to do:

-          If your Hair is too long then expect to be getting it shaved off that day,

-          If you have hair on your face your will be shaving.

-          If your shoes are not shined you will be doing a GMT on proper procedures.

-          If your Uniform is NOT Pressed you will be doing a GMT …. ETC…..

  • All Hands TWO (2) Assignments from current coursework must be turned in each drill.  This is part of your MONTHLY Evaluation and Cadet of the Quarter worksheet. BMR’s MUST be COMPLETED prior to you wearing your Sea Cadet Uniform.  Any personnel currently working on Seaman course should have it completed 30 days after sign out from Training Department, NO EXCEPTIONS !!!!

  • ALL Hands make sure you bring your Course Work to drill with you as any time there is “down

time” you will be able to work on it.  The faster you get your Course Work done the faster you can get PROMOTED!
