In spite of the tough economic times, PTO was able to raise $6,000 over the school year last year.

Some of our accomplishments included:

Contributed toward the recovering of the furniture in the Media Center.

Purchased a new washer and dryer for the cafeteria.

Purchased assorted AR party supplies and prizes throughout the school year.

Purchased gardening items to be installed in the many gardens throughout the WES campus.

Purchased the Weekly Readers and Scholastic Readers for teachers to use with their students.

Provided an option for an extra field trip for all grade levels.

Our new goals include purchasing new curtains for the stage in the cafeteria and to begin saving for new playground equipment to replace the wooden castle that was removed a few years ago. As well as continuing to provide for AR awards and parties, Weekly Readers and Scholastic Readers, and an extra field trip for all grade levels among other things. We hope you’ll help us meet these goals to enhance the excellent education our students are receiving!
