WHKL Hannan Hawk News broadcast live every morning from the Hannan Hawk Studios.Everything from the script to reporting is done by students. Our news team is composed of 7 WHKL News Team Members, Claudia Edgar, Reese Phillips, Matthew Richardson, Nico Gonzalez, Nazzerine Waldon, Jonah Huggins, and Miller May. Together they work with others to produce the news show. Each student has a segment or reporting job that they work on each week.

Study Tip The Study tip for this week is:
Essay Strategies
1. read each question carefully and underline key words.
2. know the definition of direct words such as compare contrast justify enumerate describe evaluate etc.
3. Before writing create an informal outline (mind-mapping).
4. Strive for organization avoid: padding, weak, development, and choppiness.
5. Practice using transition words like: therefore, also, in, conclusion, consequently, admittedly, moreover, furthermore, of course, finally, etc.
