The banquet room was adorned in orchids, black and gold beads, napkins, flowers and memorabilia. There were graduation and prom pictures, class t-shirts and tigers.

The years have been rolling by, and we are really grateful to all those who were able to make it to the reunion. Special thanks to all those who came from out of town. Everyone can appreciate the effort that it took to get here.
Thank you to all the classmates who have signed in. It will help us to be prepared for the next gathering.


We had so much fun catching up with old friends and making new ones too! There were umpteen door prizes. Many people won more than one prize. The raffle funds generated will help to plan our next gathering.

We are calling all classmates with connections in Las Vegas to help us with planning our 50th birthday party in 2010!

As part of our 30th reunion, we created a collection box for the American Cancer Society to honor our classmates who have passed away, and those who are now battling this disease. On November 5, 2008, Jaydene Tanaka and Dustin Ebesu presented our checks (plus a class of 1978 check) totalling $500.00!!! What an awesome accomplishment. Thank you to everyone! We will post pics soon. Please be patient.

• Remember our 10th Year Reunion? ~ Hale Koa Hotel Banquet Hall. Heavy pupus, lots of music, dancing, and great fun.
  
• How about our 20th Year Reunion? ~ Ala Moana Hotel. Cocktails and picture taking by the pool. Casino night, and great door prizes. Polished off a few at Rumours night club. Anyone dance in the cage that night? It was so much fun!
  
• NOW HERE WE ARE AT OUR 30th YEAR REUNION! ~ Our reunion at Koolau Golf Clubhouse was a total success! Much of the planning was done by a committee of 8 class members. However, it was a collective effort of many who helped to solicit donations and prizes. Thank you so very much for the generosity and aloha!

2008 is our YEAR OF THE RAT! This year some of us will be celebrating our 48th birthday (or our 576th month, or our 17,268th day on earth.) However, we're still so young, we should think of it as 3 times our sweet 16.
