On Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, five West Oahu Rotary Clubs met at the Waialua Community Center in Haleiwa and gave it a much needed face lift. The participating Clubs were the Rotary Clubs of: Kapolei, Mililani Sunrise, Wahiawa-Waialua, Waianae Coast, and West Pearl Harbor. In return for 100 hours of labor, the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Estate will donate $10,000.00 to a charity of choice. The "New Life Body of Christ Christian Church", located in Wahiawa was selected as the recipient. They are a non-profit organization and provide assistance to those in the community who are in need. Members of the Rotary Club of Wahiawa-Waialua were very happy to provide this service to the community for our "make a difference day" activity.
