WORLD MUSIC EVENTS Our most successful international music event was held in Vienna, Austra, in 1998. Our second was in Dublin, Ireland, in 2000. Now we are trying to do another, and are planning another larger trip to Prague in the Czech Republic. Prague is one of the few major cities that was not bombed in World War II. This city of fairy-tale castles will be the destination of the NTCMA World Music Event IF the economy settles down to make it possible. Bob & Sheila Everhart performed in China in 2002, and at the same time investigated the possibilities of holding our annual music convention in that country. Portugal, Spain, New Zealand, and Australia are also under consideration. If you are an entertainer and you perform old-time country, bluegrass, folk, and/or roots music, this is the trip for you. If you are a traveler, this will be the most exciting trip you'll probably ever take. Not only will we provide round-trip airfare (from certain hub cities) we'll also provide a delightful room in a 4-star hotel (some meals included); as well as optional side trips. You'll receive tickets to all the performances of the American Traditional Music & Dance Festival PLUS some extra surprises for performances off-site. Entertainers, this could be the best investment you ever made if you want to begin touring internationally. This is the first step to meeting promoters, producers, radio and television personalities, record companies, and booking agents. Bob Everhart has made over 30 concert tours to Europe alone, performing with some of the best-known bluegrass bands on that continent. So don't miss a golden opportunity to expand your entertainment horizons. CD's, DVD's, and/or tapes are mandatory before acceptance is approved. Send for more complete details about when and where, along with your CD, to P.O. Box 492, Anita, Iowa, 50020. Join Bob & Sheila Everhart and a host of other great old-timey music performers on one of the most wonderful trips you could possibly go on. WORLD MUSIC EVENTS Traditional Music & Dance Worldwide, began in 1976 as part of the "National Old Time Country Music Festival." It is held in collaboration with the Pioneer Ag Expo, and has turned into a very successful international event some 35 years later. Membership in the NTCMA, SPBGMA, CIOFF, and other organizations has made it possible to conduct international events relative to America's traditional music and dance. We have successfully taken this concept around the world. The NTCMA has for a number of years conducted various seminars, symposiums, conventions, and congress in different parts of the world. We continue to invite international performers and dancers to our annual national festival in America.
