The Cedar Rapids Marriott at 1200 Collins Road NE, just east of I-380, will provide lodging and classroom facilities for our Seminar.

The Seminar Rate is $94.00 (tax rate is 13%) for King or Double beds, per day. Please mention the Heartland Region Seminar to receive the special rate. The rate is valid as long as rooms are available. However, reservations must be received on or before 5:00 pm, Central Time, Wednesday, April 1, 2009. The hotel will try to accommodate with the best available rate after this date. There is a $50 surcharge for pets.

Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is noon.

Each guest room includes high speed internet, voice mail, cable TV with in-room movies, hair dryer, complimentary coffee and tea, iron and ironing board. The hotel, which has been recently renovated, has an indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, fitness center,and a 24 hour business center. The elevator is centrally located in the lush seven-story atrium and wireless high speed internet access is available in the lobby area. The Cedar Rapids Marriott is a non-smoking hotel.

Complimentary shuttle service is available from the hotel to the Eastern Iowa Airport.

Cedar Grille, the hotel restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lounge at Cedar Grille is open during lunch and dinner. Lindale Mall is a short distance away, along with various restaurants on Collins Road.

Box lunches from the hotel will be available each day of the Seminar (Thursday - Sunday) for $16.00 per day. You will need to pre-order when you send in your Kit Fees.

Seminar participants registering for two or more days who are not staying at the Marriott must include a $50 facility fee with their registration.
