We have completed many exciting things at St. Joseph!
Thank you all for your show of loving community in helping us raise the funds to purchase the equipment for the St. Joseph playground located on the school campus! We are on our way to reaching our goal, but still have more work to do.

Brick orders will be on-going so you still have time! Please contact Kate 377-4382. Make sure to fill out the form and get them in as soon as possible! We will continue to take monetary donations to help reach our goal. Thank you to all who gave up many of their summer days to help with the installation. We all had a wonderful time, and it showed our great community spirit. We made the KCRG TV9 news!

The safety of our children was the main purpose of the new playground, and it certified by the National Program for Playground Safety. The design of the equipment introduces the children to a new style of exercise, stretching, and learning while playing. The children also have new playground equipment that was ordered through the Nestle water bottle label program.

This was a two year project when proposed to the Board of Education and the Parish Council. The project was funded by private donations, and the 2004 Parent Organization who provided the seed money from the Charger Challenge in 2003. January marks the end of the project. The brick patio will be led and completed by Kate Fejfar in spring due to weather constraints, and additional mulch will be ordered. All additional funding will be spent on the patio from Pizza Ranch,Carlos/Applebees, and Stuff Etc..

Unfortunately, we were short of goal and will not be able to install the path connecting the play structures together, and the second swing set. There will be an Eagle Scout that will add trees and landscaping around the area in the near future.
