WIT Radio ("WITCARS") is a club within the parent
Winnebago-Itasca Travelers ("WIT") club located in Forest City, Iowa.
WIT Radio is made up of members of this parent club and are qualified amateur
radio operators with an FCC license.
Great News! Two days prior to Christmas 2006, WITCARS was granted the Vanity call sign WØWIT. We'll use this call at GNR and other special events.
The Winnebago-Itasca Travelers 2010 Grand National Rally is scheduled for Forest City, IA from Sun. July 18 to Fri. July 23. WIT Radio (WITCARS) members are invited to park in the WIT Radio row and join in lots of amateur radio activities during GNR. For more details on GNR, see http://www.winnebagoind.com/clubs/wit/gnr.php .

We plan to once again operate a Special Event Station the weekend kicking off GNR (Sat/Sun, July 17/18).
