What is WIT RADIO?

WIT RADIO is a special interest club within the WIT Club. WIT members who are also licensed amateur radio operators are eligible to be members of WIT RADIO.

WIT RADIO supports general and emergency communications at the WIT Grand National Rally (GNR) held annually in Forest City, Iowa. At GNR and other special events, we use our club call sign, WWIT.

Many WIT RADIO members check into the FMCA ARC Nets at 1300 Eastern Time on 14307.5 kHz daily (M-F). Wednesdays are known as "Winnebago Wednesdays" -- when checking in, please mention that you're a member of WIT, WIT RADIO or a Winnebago product owner.

WIT RADIO maintains its own email distribution list independent of the Yahoo group. All members are asked to update their contact info (to include a current preferred email address) with the Club Secretary. See officer contact info.

"WIT RADIO" is a Service Mark of WITCARS.

WIT Radio Group Web Site
WIT RADIO has a Yahoo discussion group. In an effort to maintain contact with the current membership, we are asking members to subscribe to the WIT Radio email reflector. This email reflector was created to allow the members of WIT Radio to seek and share advice and other information about installing and using Amateur Radios in our RVs. The list will also be used by the club officers to inform the membership of upcoming activities and other events such as what WIT Radio is doing during the annual GNR. Check it out at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/witcars/ and subscribe to the WIT RADIO email reflector by sending a blank email to: witcars-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Note you dont need a Yahoo Group login to subscribe = all youre doing is adding your email address to the distribution list.
