Since 1972 SEIFF has been a contributing factor in many community outreach events and fishing preservation projects.

Club members have contributed many volunteer man hours on projects and events. These include the East Idaho Fly Tying Expo in Idaho Falls, Sportsmen Against Hunger food fund raiser for the Idaho Food Bank, fly tying demonstrations at the Idaho State University Museum of Natural History, Trout in the Classroom training for school teachers, offering fly casting lessons at the Bannock County Fair, and outreach awareness at the Eastern Idaho State Fair.

The Club has been a long standing partner with the Idaho Fish & Game and Trout Unlimited on riparian and restoration projects by planting willows and doing repair work on Slate and Giraffee Creeks and Thomas Fork. We have raised money to help purchase land for angler's on the Portneuf River and continue to build cross buck fences that now extends over 5 miles on both sides of this river.

The SEIFF Board continually works to provide a season of outstanding program presenters. These club programs feature anglers sharing their fly fishing experiences and expertise in many different locations. We have factory representatives who share and information us about new and exciting fly fishing equipment. We also host open fly tying demonstrations.

We hope you enjoy visiting our web site and will consider joining our club in promoting the sport of fly fishing.

Darrell Brown
SEIFF President
