This site is intended to keep the parents and guardians of our students informed as to what is happening on our team.

We will strive to help every one of our students to learn to the best of their abilities. Through our years of teaching we have found that the best way for this to happen is to have full support from the team here at school, the parents/guardians at home, and the student.

We make it a part of our teaching to stay in touch with the parents of our students on a continual basis and hope that you will do the same.

We realize that many of our students have issues that don’t involve school. We have many resources available to help our students through a difficult time. Our counselors, deans, resource officer, our teen mentors, and all of us team teachers, can all provide students with supports they may not be able to get from within the classroom or outside school. Please contact us with any concerns so that we can put your child in contact with the right person or group. Also, encourage your child to ask for help on their own. This is a huge step towards advocating for them selves.

Attendance is critical to your child’s success at middle school. Absences should be kept to a minimum throughout the year. If your child does have to be absent, please remember to call the attendance clerk so that the school is aware that it is an excused absence.

Also, please be aware that it is the students responsibility to make up ALL work that they missed due to their absence. They must speak to each of their teachers either before a planned absence or immediately upon their return.

Every Wednesday morning we provide extra help to all our students who may be missing work, tests, or just need some extra guidance.

Students will need to be dropped off by 7:55 and will then continue on their day once the first bell rings. Sorry, there is no bus service for this.

Our team likes to keep our parents involved in the process of their child. In addition to mid-quarter reports and report cards, we send home grade sheets for all our subjects about every two weeks.

On these are listed all the assignments and the ones that your child has not completed including absent work. These are to be signed and returned the next day for credit. Students are generally allowed to make up any missing work.
