I just wanted to say that I think this 
was the best reunion ever.
I think people had changed more this time 
than ever before.  I had a hard time recognizing 
some people even when they told me who they were 
(...and I know there were some who didn't 
recognize me!!).
I really enjoyed the tour of the new school. 
Phil was the perfect guide...he knew all of the 
answers to all of the questions asked. 
(as well he should!)
The Friday night party was so laid back, 
it gave everyone a chance to circulate and talk.  
(the food was good, too.)
Saturday night was nice.  I liked the fact that 
there were not a lot of speeches or contests. 
(who came the farthest, etc.).
I know a lot of work was involved to make this 
event run so seamlessly. Thank you to everyone 
who had a hand in it.  I am only sorry more people 
could not attend.  You really missed a good party.

I will be at the 40th reunion in thought, but cannot attend in person! A short update on the last 40 years: Went to SIU, Edwardsville for 2 years. Spent a year in Taiwan working for the Military Assistance Advisory Group (as a civilian). Worked in Retail Management in the Belleville area for 2 years. Got married in '69, divorced in '71, no kids. Moved to Michigan in '71, more Retail Mgmt. Married again in '71, 2 daughters, 4 grandsons, divorced in '98 (cost me 500 Grand and early retirement). Have worked for General Dynamics Land Systems since '73 (32 years+) Built combat tanks for the Army; Foreman on tank production line, Trained Army personnel on Operation and Maintenance of M60 and M1 families of tanks for 10 years in US, Germany, Korea, and Taiwan; Currently a Logistics Quality Analyst Specialist for the last 4 years. Married (yes, a 3rd time) Jane in '99, 2 step-sons, 2 step-granddaughters - happier than ever before! Live in Rochester Hills, MI (a suburb 12 miles north of Detroit).
