Queen Dinky Doo and Vice Queen Lady of the Slots Our chapter is open to new members ages 40+ so why not come out to play with us! If you are UNDER age of 50, you are a "Lady in Waiting". You will wear Lavevder clothing with a pink hat. Pink hats can be bold, bright or pale to your liking. Ladies 50 and older will wear DARK purple clothing with a red hat. Your hats can be simple or fancy as you'd like! There is a rule, you MUST wear your colors and your HAT! After all it's the RED HAT SOCIETY. When a Lady in Waiting is turning the BIG ONE her 50th,
she then trades her pink hat in for a RED hat! It's a
special day for her and there many ways to celebrate.
Members may do a ceremony by acting out the poem
"WARNING" by Jenny Joseph or any other creative
fun way to celebrate!
