Danvers Days

Welcome to Danvers Days
Mission Statement:-
Danvers Days is a non-profit, volunteer run weekend, focused on celebrating community and promoting a spirit of togetherness and care-free fun in a home-grown atmosphere of family-friendly entertainment.

It is held the third weekend of August each year.
The weekend has food, entertainment, a carnival, lots of vendor's stalls and fun for everyone.

2010 Danvers Days Apparel Available Now
The 2010 Danvers Days apparel is now available to purchase at the Danvers Bank.

We are offering 2 different shirts. One for those who have served in the armed forces and one for those of us who are honoring them.
The shirts are $12.00 each and the hats are $15.00.

Parade Walkers Needed
Have you or someone you know served in the military? If so we need your help. We are looking for any volunteers who would like to help us make this years Danvers Days Parade special. We are looking for 60 volunteer to help carry flags during the parade this year. If you would like to help please email us at danversdays@yahoo.com.

Fireworks.
Fireworks
Many of you are wondering what's happening with the fireworks.???
Well, we are planning fireworks for our 30th Anniversary in 2011.
There will be many fundraisers between now and then to help build our funds for this event.

Coffee Mugs
Don't forget we have insulated mugs... good for hot or cold liquids. These are available at many locations in the village.
These have " Danvers Illinois" and an antique tractor on them.
All proceeds help our fundraising

Danvers Cookbooks.
We have some Danvers Cookbooks still available. These have lots of delicious recipes gathered from the community. To get your copy or one for a friend, contact any of the committee members.
