| What kinds of services are provided by Easter Seals?
Easter Seals children's services include early intervention programs designed to assist young children with disabilities adapt and find ways to succeed in school and in their lives. Preschool and daycare programs for children with and without disabilities offer families a safe environment, staffed by childcare providers trained to identify and work with children with physical and learning disabilities. After-school care programs offer extended learning opportunities. Easter Seals camping programs give children with and without disabilities the chance to become more independent. And respite services benefit children with disabilities and their families. Easter Seals' voctional training and employment services provide young people and adults with disabilities a full spectrum of services. Job training, job placement, assistive technology and mentoring programs help people with disabilities find and keep jobs that enhance independence. These are services offered at Easter Seals organizations across the country. Easter Seals continues to be one of the nation's largest networks for medical rehabilitation services, offering physical and occupational therapy, speech language services, home health, and specialized therapy and support programs for spinal cord injuries, stroke, post-polio and disabilities that occur as a part of aging. | ||||||||||||||||
