Lollipops
Honey
Pop rocks Dip lollipop into honey. Then roll lollipop into pop rocks. Enjoy.
Butterbeer (Version 1)
1 pint vanilla ice cream (softened)
1/2 stick butter (softened)
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. of cinnamon
1 tsp grated nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground clove
1 quart apple cider Cream butter, sugar and spices together. Beat in the vanilla ice cream. Re-freeze the mixture. Scoop out the frozen mixture into a glass. Pour hot Apple cider over the ice cream mixture. Optional: add an ounce of rum for an adult treat.

Fudge gets thrown out of office!!!
The fabled Icicle, once thought as Ron's cousin but now a sinister character, may appear in this book. That is, if she exists - it's said that J. K. Rowling let it be known that there is no Icicle, but that isn't confirmed yet. Some ppl seem pretty sure J. K. Rowling meant Ron's cousin as a character she had to cut out of the fourth book before its printing, and think this cousin will show up in Book 5, or possible Book 6.

Everyone keeps thinking order [Order of the Pheonix (fifth book)] as in a group, but what if it means order like a sequence. The phoenix's sequence is to live its life, die, and then be reborn from the ashes. That is the order of the phoenix.

Well well well. So you've reached the Book 5 Rumours page. Here's a warning: there's A LOT of rumours flying around the HP communities! True, we don't have many yet, but then again we don't really prefer copying from other sites, either. ;)

Someone's going to die - and apparently it's going to be one of Harry's greatest admirers. This could range from anyone like Hagrid to Colin. (Personally.. I think it will be Hagrid.)
Arabella Figg may very well have something to do with Harry. After all, she's been mentioned in quite a few books with ties both to the Muggle and Wizarding world...
Hermione and Krum have a romance. Well okay, this is almost for certain as they've already sort of had a romance.. but, er, I mean, more of one.
All the characters develop more as teens - like, hormones-wise. Who knows - Cho and Harry might end up getting together after all!
Harry gets together with someone - romantically. Could be Cho, could be Ginny.. I'll leave that perplexing notion up to you!
Fleur Delacour (see Book 4) comes and teaches Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts.
I heard that Hagrid and Mademe Maxime will go on a misson for Dumbledore to go and try to get the giants on their side before Voldemort does. -Jose

When Dudley heard Harry talking to the snake in Book 1, he said he heard him "talking" to the snake. When Harry tried getting the snake away from the student in Book 2, the student said he was "hissing" at the snake. Is it possible Dudley can speak Parseltongue? -Lesha de Wet
J.K Rowling said that people can become wizards later in life and that the Dursleys have an interesting secret. I'm thinking that Dudley may actually be a wizard! Imagine how upset Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia would be if they found out that their precious son were "abnormal." -Nicole

When I heard the rumour about someone close to Harry dying, at first I thought it was Colin or Hagrid as well [seeing as so many other people thought it would be]. But, I was recently re-reading the second book (for about the 15th time), and I read a bit where Dobby explains that a House-Elf must serve one family until he/she dies. Once I read that, I began to suspect Dobby might be the one who dies. - Anne

I think Harry is the heir of Gryffindor because his parents hid in Godric's Hollow, his wand emitted gold and red sparks when he first got it, and in Chamber, Dumbledore said only a true Gryffindor could pull the sword out of the Sorting Hat.
Arabella Figg is the old magic that protects Harry at the Dursley's. I'm pretty sure of this because in Goblet of Fire, in the Death Eaters chapter, Voldemort said that he thought he could get Harry at his relations house, but some old magic was protecting him and a woman named Arabella was mentioned as being part of Dumbledore's old group. That's why Harry always had to go back to the Dursley's first every summer.
We are going to find out why some people become ghosts and others don't. Plus, more about Lily Potter's past, including her maiden name. And, the significance of Harry's green eyes, his mother's eyes so to speak, and her wand's specialty will be important.
Harry's going to explore death in a new way. I think that the Harry-Wormtail bond will come back in place, either Voldemort will find out and kill Wormtail or in a Harry-Voldemort battle, Wormtail will have to save Harry's life. I think the bond might hold true with Ginny and Harry, so she might have to save him. Ron and Harry will team up and face Voldemort.
For the fan death, Hagrid is not a fan. The fans are Colin Creevey, Ginny Weasley, and maybe even Dennis Creevey. I see Colin dying because he seemed more of a fan than Ginny because of all the photos he took. Plus, Voldemort or Tom Riddle, already tried to kill Ginny and failed.
Remus Lupin and possibly Gilderoy Lockhart will come back, but not as teachers. Remus for sure, because he is part of the Order of the Pheonix, a group that fights against the Dark forces. Snape will become a spy for Dumbledore and I think Sirius Black might have a better chance of getting his freedom since he too will be helping Dumbledore.
I see Hermione and Ron going out since she got mad that Ron liked Fleur Delacour and that she kissed him, and that he just recently found out she was a girl. As for Victor Krum, I see them breaking up since he lives in Bulgaria and she in England. I think Harry will try a lot more harder to ask Cho out, now that Cedric has died.
Harry will most likely become the new Gryffindor Qudditch captain since everyone else will be graduating so there would be no point in making one of them be captain for a year. I think Ron might become the new Keeper. -All rumours from Emma down were contributed by SpikeySeeker
This dude from Bloomsbury said that the name of number 5 is not the Order of the Phoenix, but it is most likely to be Harry Potter and the Fortress of Shadows. -Jeremy

I think that Snape could possibly be Harry's uncle; and that's why he saved Harry in the first book. They told Harry the Dursley's were his only living relatives, but they didn't want him to know that his uncle was a wizard. And they didn't tell Harry now because they know Harry and Snape hate each other and didn't want to put Harry through the pain of finding out Snape's his uncle. Is it possible that when Dudley said (1st book) he heard Harry "talking" to the snake, that maybe the snake was an Animagus, and since he was really talking to it than maybe Dudley over heard him? Ok, let's get things straight: Lily Potter was definitely a Death Eater because why would Voldemort kill her with just no reason? I mean out of everyone in the world he just seemed to have to kill her? And don't you guys remember that Voldemort would kill any Death Eater that would betray him? In the 5th book I think that Ron would get mad at Harry and that he would joing the dark side. The reason is because as always Harry gets all the attention and, like always to his helpers, Voldemort will tell Ron that he can get him a little popular around school. Malfoy and Harry will team up and fight againts Voldemort but will not become friends. Last thing is that the whole school will think that Harry killed Cedric on purpose to get to Cho. -Sikonut

As Quirrell says to Harry at the end of book 1, He thought I was alone, but I'm never alone and because You Know Who was joined to the back of Quirrells head, You Know Who had to hear the conversations between Snape and Quirrell. -Casey

In book 1, Dumbledore said that on the night Voldemort tried to kill Harry (Godric's Hollow) Voldemort put a bit of himself in Harry. Therefore Voldemort can't die unless Harry dies. Book 7's name on the list was called Harry Potter and the Gaurdian's Key. It said that there will be a way to bring people back to life, which means Harry could bring back his mother and father and fight voldermort. I do not know who the guardian is, but I do know it has something to do with the Forbidden Forest and a tower. -Jeremy
