The Inaugural Holy Name Society Golf Outing was held at the venerable Triple Lakes Golf Course on April 26, 2008. The weather was a beautiful, sunny day with the temperatures in the low 70’s. The first year champions shot a blistering 56 to outpace the 25 team field and win the tournament by three strokes. The team of Merl Doerr, Gary Pace, Jeff Choisser and Mike Walton were awarded the coveted “Champions Jacket” along with their prize money.

Inagural Champions

The second annual HNS outing was again held at Triple Lakes Golf Course on April 25, 2009. The Eighty-four golfers were greeted to temperatures in the low 80’s and gusty winds. The 20+ mile per hour winds challenged the golfers but the team of Tom Scherff, Doug Dujmovic, Chris Hendrix and Brian Wittman were best able to tame the conditions for the victory. Merl Doerr as past champion presented the winners with their “Champions Jacket” and so the tradition continues….
