Holy Name                                                                                                      
The Holy Name Society is the men's parish group for Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Grade School in Waterloo, Illinois. Our regular meetings are held monthly on the 4th Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. in the Ss. Peter & Paul School cafeteria. All men of the parish are welcomed at the monthly meeting. We have free food, drinks and a $25 attendance prize at every meeting.

Recent donations of time, talent and treasure:

  • $1,000 donation to SPPS tuition assistance program
  • $2,400 donation to Gibault for tuition assistance for parish students
  • $500 donation to Gibault Annual Fund
  • $100 hole sponsorship - Gibault Benefit Golf Tournament
  • Provided labor for the Parish Picnic set up and clean up
  • $250 donation to Fr. Stan for his going away gift
  • $600 donation for a new air conditioner unit at Saints Peter and Paul school
  • $500 donation for Gibault Oktoberfest
  • $100 hole sponsorship- Ss. Peter and Paul Athletic Association golf tournament

August Meeting
Thanks for the great turn out at our first "Back to School Fish Fry". It was a great evening for everyone to meet in a casual setting. For the first time we were able to break the 50 member mark at the meeting. Special thanks to John Green and the rest of the "Fryers Club". We hope to see everyone at our September meeting.

September Meeting
** Our next meeting is Wednesday, September 22nd. Remember we will start our meetings at 8:15 p.m. while the PSR is in session. The later start time will allow for the PSR children to vacate the school and ease traffic congestion.**
