joy human development partners with Chicago humanist movement activities. We are in Campaign for non-violence and Fight against Malaria. We are involved in helping those who most vulnerable people, Children, Orphans, Old Aged, under 5 children and pregnant women. 1.Malaria is a killer desease here in Africa. The desease which has claimed many lives and we are working on preventive measures to roll back malaria. Our Aim is to over come Violence in human beings, so we also partner with Zambia Malaria Foundation.In health campaign, we are using sport as a tool to reach the children. Recently we formed Zambia Youth Academy for grass root football.

INTRODUCTION Joy Human Development Centre is a Zambian NGO that was established on 15 th may 2003 in Lusaka District. Aim to bring social,economical, environment and substable development to the community. curerent JHD is operating in two province kabwe,Mumbwa and Lusaka. lntroducing health,education and quality of life projects to these areas. JHD'S main objective is to provides Malaria,HIV/AIDS education and control,as health and general education to vulnerable communities that grassroots level. JHD works prodominatly with those most at risk, including children under five years old,pregnant women,orphans,widows and fmilues in poverty. JHD use drama,sport,arts and crafts as a tools to empower women and children. Malaria is a number one killer in Africa. JHD are taking an active role to in ecouraging education at an early stage in school,to help education and ecourage people to preventive measures and change their behaviour towards malaria. JHD offer supportr for vitims of violence and sexual abuse with counselling available for vitims. JHD also provides advices on health mathers and sexual education to the community. our future plan is building community house for OVCs currently we are in rental problem, buy a piece of land. Child Sponsonship The orgnisation plan is to construct a community house school for street children and vulnerable children OVCs of parent who deid of HIV?AIDS a transit home,building a four classes block.which will be also base for women and youths doing skills programmes and home for orphans and widows. HIV?AIDS pandemic has claim many lives high level of poverty and the deteriorating economic evironment overwhhelming challenges.death among among the producctive and active age group is high,leaing behind huge numbers of vulnerable and depenndant children. In 2001, zambia was home 874,000 orghans 917.6% of children) of all childrenthese572,000 were orphaned due to AIDS,By 2005 it is predicted that the total number of orpians will rise to1,042,000(19.4% of all children) 769,00 of these will be asa result of AIDS(Children on the Brink 2002)the group affected most are children in zambia.3/4 of zambian are in under line of poverty.they experience hunger,malnutrition,child illnesses and various form of abuse. Malaria kills about 50,000 people every year in zambia so we share experience with partner in Rollback Malaria in zambia Abuji Target by 2010. ln order to achieve our goal. We are seeking assistance from Donors Community, lndependent Donor,General Public, business enterises, churchs and other well wishers. HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT THE ORGANISATION Donation of money for Projects. Donation of educational materials Donation of food stuffs,computers,sport equipments,furnitures and second hand clothes. Education we provide to single and double orphans and vulnerable children whosie parents can't manage to take them to government schools. Aged 6 to 14 years. Outreach health awareness campaign, We use sport as a tool to children and youth. Impowerment of women and youth in creative art & crafts. For children we are introducing it for talent identification at an early stage. We organise workshops for outreach programs of which we have come up as an incubator program in Art and Craft. Skills for life like Paper making, Wood works, Tailoring and designing. The provision of computer application to members is to teach each other. Brief described the supported targeted beneficiaries. The target groups are the following categories: Children, Aged 6 to 14 years Youths aged 18 to 35 years Widows The Old aged 65 years old and above. The main purpose of the website is to able to correspond fast more cheaply and convenient for public online brochures and about the organisation.Support from donors solicit monetary donations for the project and administrtion.Our main plan is to have child sponsorship programs and pledges for various activities like in health senstisation programmes.
