"THE HURRICANES - A force to be reckoned with!"      

Travel softball provides girls in our area with the opportunity to compete at a higher level of competition, with and against the most talented and dedicated players in the Midwest. The typical season consists of 9-12 weeks of indoor practices beginning in October and typically ending in March. Our practices then shift to outdoor practices and scrimmage games. During the season we generally play in anywhere from 7-10 tournaments a year. (All depending on the age group). Travel softball is competitive, not recreation, softball. The coaching staff is committed to balancing competitiveness and maintaining a positive experience for all players. Although we will always play to win, it is not a win at all cost mentality. All players must understand that, unlike recreational softball, the manager does not guarantee minimum playing times.

We are looking for serious, experienced, dedicated athletes to round out solid teams at the 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U levels. As well as serious dedicated athletes to help us build a new team at the 10U level.

Monday, August 3: 14U / 16U/ 18U: 6:00-7:30

Age Group Cut-off as of January 1, 2010:

10U - Players born in 1999 or younger
12U - Players born in 1997 & 1998 (or younger)
14U - Players born in 1995 & 1996 (or younger)
16U - Players born in 1993 & 1994 (or younger)
18U - Players born in 1991 & 1992 (or younger)
